Event FAQ's
Since the event takes place outdoors please dress casually! Comfortable shoes or boots are highly recommended. The temperature in Roxboro, NC in October should be a lovely 70 degrees mid-day, but bring a sweater, coat, or wrap for cooler evening temps.
Bring your Bible, if you’d like, and we will provide booklets and pens for the teaching sessions. We are praying for beautiful sunny skies, but you may want to bring an umbrella in case of rain.
For the speaking portion of the day, we will be gathered in a cozy barn that will be decked with comfortable seating and tables. There will be a large tented area with tables and chairs for lunch. In addition, there are multiple areas around the property where you can sit (or swing) during free time.
Yes! We will have coffee, hot cider, sodas, and water available throughout the day. A large charcuterie style lunch with be provided with plenty of gluten free options. Snacks and desserts will also be provided throughout the day. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions please let us know at the time of registration. We will make every effort to accommodate you!
When you drive through the gate at Bent Tree Farm, you will be greeted and guided to a parking space along the top of the drive. If you choose to walk the tree lined, graveled driveway to the event space, you are free to do so, or you can be driven by one of the event hosts.
Yes! There will be free time in the afternoon to enjoy the property and beautiful fall foliage. You can choose to stroll the 17 acres, go on an easy guided hike to see the Bent Tree, join in on a craft, spend quiet time in the prayer cottage, or sit and chat, read, or nap on the front porch, or one of the many decks. This will be followed by a very special and unique conclusion to our day, where we will celebrate, claim, and cement the breakthroughs and healing we believe, by faith, God is waiting to work for each of us.
Yes, please see the recommended hotels on the registration sheet. If you are staying the night the owners of Bent Tree welcome you back Sunday Morning at 9:00 for an easy breakfast, followed by a time of prayer, worship, and fellowship.
