I read this lovely book (The Boy, the Mole, The Fox and the Horse) once again last night and felt God sweetly confirm what I’ve gradually come to know: One of the most courageous resolutions we can make when life leaves us battered and broken, is, simply, to continue.
Shielded by our good God, with us in every storm, we rejoice to discover that we are braver than we knew, and stronger than we could have imagined on cloudless days.
Be encouraged today, dear ones.
We are not alone.
We are not unloved.
Our storms won’t last forever.
“He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Then are they glad because they are quieted; so He bringeth them unto their desired haven.”
